My big brudder, and one of the few people I know who shares my amusement with retro computer games. Come to think of it, we've shared an astounding number of interests over the years: role-playing games, music, Knowledge Bowl, archaeology, motorcycles, computers; we may be more similar than we've realized. Craig DeForest
Craig was at Stanford with Matt, my brother. In lieu of the many things I could say about him, here's a small illustrative anectdote: when he was an undergraduate, they once let him teach a class in beer brewing using the university facilities over the summer; in the fall, they found that the introductory biology class was unable to culture any bacteria except brewer's yeast. Don't let him near your experiments. -r

Lysandra Deforest
My leetle sister. She's a really good saxophone player, though she doesn't play much anymore. She was a bartender for many years, and now runs the computer network for quite a large liquor store; some of us are suspecting there may be a pattern forming in this. A wonderful young man I have had the pleasure of watching grow up. He's son of my very longtime friends Lesley and Paul. I remember him back when he was just a little sprout, now he's reading, enjoying movies like 'Iron Giant' with Robin and I, and generally growing up to be wonderful guy. -j
